By now almost everyone has heard of the IDEO methodology Design Thinking, which can be used to facilitate the design of product, service, or process innovations from a user-centric perspective. Come and play with two of the seven steps in the classic Design Thinking process: DEFINE (in which we articulate a challenge through the “How Might We” statement) and TEST (in which we create small experiments to test a tiny slice of a solution).
You’ll also learn a technique from LEGO Serious Play!
For each step, we will also discuss how to apply the concepts and techniques to other facilitation challenges.
Kristin Leydig Bryant, MBA
Since 1995, Kristin has worked with clients as a management consultant specializing in solutions for strategic organizational issues. Kristin’s company, Bridge Clarity, provides organizational change management leadership to large scale transformation and innovation projects.
Her areas of expertise within OCM include executive alignment, stakeholder management, communications, and learning/training. She also facilitates executive education programs on Innovation, Balanced Leadership, and Strategy Execution.
Kristin holds a B.A. in English (Technical and Expository Communications) from The University of Tennessee and an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a founding board member of DREAM Dachshund Rescue and has published a book for dachshund owners, Honey, Have You Squeezed the Dachshund?
